Hello, I wanted to know if you would allow someone to have a tattoo with this Ouroboros ?
I found this dragon really amazing, and the colouring just awesome...
And if you wouldn't allow, well, this would still be some great stuff :)
As the description says, this was a commissioned design-- I would prefer it if other people didn't use it. Thanks for asking, though, and for the compliments!
well, I wouldn't just imagine stealing your work :)
I understand your point, and I'll try to find an artist to draw such a fine piece...
I'll have a hard time finding the one !!
I have joined this site just to be able to comment on your picture! Your Ouroborus is awesome and I simply must have it tattood onto my skin! Yet it wouldn't feel right without the artists consent. I see that you were not wishing to share it. I must at least question you as to why, in a bid to perhaps soften your resolve. I mean, shouldn't you be honoured that people would want to adorn their bodies with your atwork and design for all their life?
Who did commission you to make the drawing? I think you should give it as a universal design that can be enjoyed by everyone, so as to share something more with the world, and make some people even happier, especially since it is based on a symbol that means so much to so many. This stylised design and colour is magnificent and should be exploited I think. Can you make any money or anything from selling it to tattoo shops? Will you reconsider giving your sought after consent TK? Of course if you really feel strongly you will not share it, then I couldn't face wearing it on my body, which I think would be very sad. For those of us who are not artists, let us make a symbol of your skills and relish in their delights.
Wow, this is a flattering comment! Thank you so much for taking the time to write.
If it hadn't been commissioned specifically for someone, I would say, go nuts-- but if I give my blessing for other people to use it, it would be inconsiderate to the man who paid for it. It would be a little like charging someone for...say...a new, funky, personalized haircut, and then giving that same haircut to a bunch of people for free. I'd feel pretty bad doing that!
That said, I can't really stop anyone from using the image, but I hope people will respect my wishes (you've already said you would, and I thank you for that).
But hey, if you ever want to commission a tattoo design from me, drop me a line. I don't mind doing a unique version of the same concept. :)
Yes I will respect your wish. Hmm, well if you create one for me, I will let everybody use it! You really think the guy will mind? He wants to be the only one? Ah well kids should be taught to share their toys without feeling any attachment, so that as adults we can create a fair world! In which all give of our talents for free so that none go without a thing. Hmm well it is tempting, how much do you charge?

Excellent piece. I love the fluid colors; they really compliment the ouroboros concept.
